RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS
Our residential programs provide structured programming utilizing the best evidence-based practices while clients stay in a safe, supportive environment. We have two levels, ASAM 3.5 and ASAM 3.1, of residential programs, each of which are certified through the Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
Stepping Stone
Stepping Stone Residential is a ASAM 3.5 clinically managed high intensity residential program with 32 beds for men and 12 beds for women. There is a separate men and women's unit and during a residential stay, the units do not intermingle. Clients in Stepping Stone Residential typically stay for 3-4 weeks and attend programming from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Services include group, individual and family therapy, case management, skills training, psychoeducational classes and peer recovery services. We also offer an introduction to self-help groups that are available in our community.
Transitional Residential Program for Women - Stepping Forward
Our Stepping Forward for Women (SFW) program is an ASAM 3.1 clinically managed low intensity residential program that serves up to 10 women. This structured three phase program provides 24-hour support and treatment which includes group, individual and family therapy, case management, skills training, psychoeducational classes and peer recovery services. Priority admission is given to pregnant women and they can stay during their pregnancy and after the birth of their child (may stay up to 6-12 months—depending on demonstrated need—with the goal of eventual transition to independent living in the community). Our Stepping Forward programs are Level IV certified Recovery Residences by the Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences and we ask that clients commit to 90 days in this program.
